Millionaire. I bet in a million years you never thought it was possible for you to define yourself in such a way. Not only is it possible, but it is well within anyone's reach. However, to become a millionaire you have to learn how to "work smart." Working smart is not about getting rich quick without doing any work. The reality of it is that you can get rich and it can happen faster than you might think, but it usually won't happen overnight. It is not my intention to fill your head with dreams of money falling from the sky or some crazy lottery scheme to make you rich tomorrow. Becoming a Millionaire is not a walk in the park; you'll have to work for it. But, the work can actually be fun and will be insignificant compared to the reward. Whether you heed my advice and make it rich or you continue on the same boring path you are on now, you will need to put in work. The way I see it, why not pay the price for Success rather than pay the price for Mediocrity.

What you won't be doing is trading hours for dollars and working yourself to death. That is completely against the "working smart" philosophy. What you SHOULD do is set up a business that generates income even while you're not working in your business! Rather than working "in" your business, you need to learn to work "on" your business so that eventually YOU can be taken out of the equation all together and continue to make an income. Don't get me wrong, it should not be as if you are absent from your business. You just need to create a company that is dependent on a solid business system more than it is physically dependent on YOU. You should still be active on a daily basis through the phone and internet; however, because there is no part of the company that will require you to put hours "into" the business, you will have the FREEDOM to do as you wish. You need to spend the majority of your time setting up joint ventures, communicating with partner companies and top affiliates, inventing new business ideas that will grow your business, and strategizing on new and creative marking initiatives.

By learning to work "on" your business you will have more time to do things that you love to do, things you can do anywhere in the world. The philosophy of "working smart" comes down to one word- choice. Here are a few benefits of the "working smart" business strategy:

·Freeing yourself from working in an office from 9 to 5

·Having money to spend on your children, family, and yourself

·Taking weeks at a time off for vacation and still earn an income

·Freedom to live where you want

Take back control and ownership of your life. What separates a "smart" millionaire from everyone else is time and money. For most people, a job gives them money and that's about it. In exchange for money, people give up the best part of their day, 5 days a week. Now let me ask you something. How much is your time worth? Your job keeps you from doing what you want to do and prevents you from enjoying the moments you will never get back. The biggest drawback of any job is that it robs you of your most precious asset- your time. Think about it this way.

40 hrs per week x 50 weeks per year x 40 years of your life = 80,000 hours
1 hr/day commuting x 5 days/week x 50 weeks/year x 40 yrs of your life = 10,000 hours
90,000 hours spent working and commuting / 5,840 hours in a year = Over 15 years of your life wasted!

What can you do with an extra 15 years of your life?

It should be clear to you at this point that in order to work smart you need to start your own business. How many millionaires do you know that work for someone else? However, becoming your own boss isn't the answer if you don't plan correctly. Most people end up trading a job that takes away their time, with a business that takes away even more of their time. You want to avoid brick and mortar businesses. These are the traditional businesses that you typically think of, the ones that eat up your time and money. With any brick and mortar business you first need to spend money setting it up with things like buying inventory, leasing a building, buying equipment and hiring employees. Now after spending money to set it up you have to spend the time to run it. Congratulations, you just traded a typical 9 to 5 job for a 10 to 14 hour job instead.
